Embossing
& Debossing
Embossing
The effect a raised image can provide on flat paper can be as simple and elegant as a blind emboss or as sophisticated as intricate patterns of varying levels and depths. Embossing adds a sense of depth, elegance, and sophistication to otherwise bland one-dimensional printed materials.
We have numerous presses on which we can emboss/deboss and are able to handle press sheet sizes as small as business cards up to 28” x 40”, with stocks ranging from 20lb.bond to B-flute corrugated.
There are various types of options available when embossing or debossing paper including a flat emboss, flat with a bevel edge, domed, multilevel and even custom sculptured images
Embossing and Debossing are commonly used in the production of product boxes, business cards, letterheads, envelopes, invitations, book covers, presentation covers, certificates and packaging to create a unique and eye-catching.
The design options are unlimited when you begin to combine foiled and embossed images and best of all they are environmentally safe and completely recyclable.
Debossing
Debossing provides the same effects as embossing but with an indentation in the paper instead of a raised image. Combining an emboss image with a deboss image can provide a visually unique 3D appearance to your project.
